Bowler of the Year / All Star Teams
These awards recognize Greater Cedar Valley Bowlers who had an outstanding season (August 1 – July 31) in performance through participating in GCV leagues and USBC certified tournaments both in the GCV and outside the area.
Bowlers earn points for high scores, season long high averages and series, participation and success in the association tournament, open and women’s state tournaments and the USBC open and women’s championships, success in other short and long duration tournaments, participation in leagues, being a league officer or board member.
The individual male and female who earn the most points based on their accomplishments will be named the Male and Female Bowler of the Year respectively. Four additional males and three additional females will make up the respective All Star Teams.
Note: Bowlers will be responsible for reporting scoring or tournament results to ensure points are awarded.
What should you report:
High Scores – males (11 in a row, 300, 800), females (275+, 650+, 700, 800) please report high scores bowled during league play and tournaments in or outside of the GCV.
Tournament Scoring (all events) / Finishes – you will need a link to the results or a digital copy of the results that can be uploaded. Results of the GCV association tournament, Iowa State tournaments and the USBC Open Championships will automatically be included.
